Population
“We are a plague on the Earth… Either we limit our population growth or the natural world will do it for us.” – Sir David Attenborough
Population growth results in poverty and pollution because of scarcity in both food and water, they are interconnected. Depletion of non-renewable resources that are increasingly difficult to replenish. Over population has its impact resulting to an environmental problem. We must all be concerned. Population growth is not a disputable problem. It is the most serious long-term threat to survival. If it is not controlled voluntarily, it will be done so involuntarily by increased starvation, disease and war.
“Population Growth is the primary source of environmental damage” – Jacques Cousteau
